Nominated councillors interview Anu, Harjinder
It seems that the nine nominated councillors of the Municipal Corporation have taken it upon themselves to choose the next Mayor of the city. The nine nominated by the UT Administration to assist the MC general house to carry out different activities are taking their vote for the post of Mayor too seriously. They held interviews of the candidates for the post of Mayor, Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor today. The purpose of the interview was to assess the elected councillors of the MCC. Ex-Mayors Anu Chatrath and Harjinder Kaur, along with the rest of their panel, today had to give a brief account of their profile, agenda and party manifesto to all nine nominated councillors.
